Exploring the Scrum Expansion Pack

The Scrum Guide was first published in 2010. It was revised many times, often shrinking in size and becoming less specific. The last version was published in 2020. Now in 2025, there is a “Scrum Expansion Pack.” So, is there a new version of Scrum? This session will explore the Scrum Expansion Pack, and address:

·         What’s the problem with the current Scrum Guide?

·         How does the Scrum Expansion Pack address it?

·         What are some of the highlights of the Expansion Pack contents?

Dan Neumann's Bio

Dan Neumann is a head of the Agility Guild at Motivus, leading a group of more than 20 Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Coaches. He works to ensure that the clients’, company’s, and employees’ needs are cared for while we work to deliver on the desired business outcomes. Dan has well over 25 years of experience in software development industry, almost 20 of which were spent in professional services. Dan helps clients realize business objectives through process changes, mindset changes, and/or custom software solutions. He is approaching his second decade of experience with Agile and Lean methods for rapidly creating customer value.
