AgileIndy is completely run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our Board Members are responsible for overseeing the business affairs of the organization. These responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, overseeing resources and relationships, and managing the reputation of the organization.

Elizabeth Friend is an Agile Evangelist at Sallie Mae Bank, where Elizabeth monitors Agile metrics and champions analytical literacy.
Elizabeth has worked at a number of diverse companies including Cummins, Booz Allen Hamilton and Indiana Department of Labor. Elizabeth has helped lead two SAFe transformations in the Indianapolis area. She is currently in her 2nd year on the AgileIndy board as the Chair and Conference Speaker Committee Lead
Elizabeth is a mother of swimmers and spends most weekends in the chemical filled air of local natatoriums cheering, even though they can't hear her.
Jennifer is a Senior-level Agile Coach and Servant Leader with over 20 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Development, Project Management, and Product Development. She has a proven track record of successfully leading project teams, facilitating product development, coaching individuals and teams, and getting results. She is passionate about coaching teams to maximize performance and leading technology driven organizations to success.
Jennifer has been an active member of AgileIndy since 2013. She was elected to the board in 2016 and has been Vice Chair since 2017. She is responsible for all Communications and Marketing in her current board position. Jennifer has also been a member of AgileCincy since 2016 and served on the board for two years. She continues to serve as the Social Media Advisor for AgileCincy.
Chris has extensive experience managing a software development organization and project teams in all aspects of product development (requirements, planning, development, testing and verification).
Chris has worked on software projects for a variety of industries including medical devices and systems, public safety, security, aerospace support systems, and test and measurement products. Chris has significant experience applying Agile and Lean methods to software development including regulated industries.
As VP of Engineering at SEP, he continues to influence the work environment and software product development practices of teams at his company. As a mentor and leader of a team of project managers, he remains active in coaching and improving the project management practices at his company.
Chris has been a board member of AgileIndy since 2012, and was one of the 4 founding board members. Here, Chris has contributed to the growth and sustainment of AgileIndy, providing learning opportunities for technology development professionals in the Indianapolis area. He has played a key role in planning and running AgileIndy’s annual conference as well as contributing to the group’s monthly meetings.
Megan May has been an active member since the first AgileIndy conference in 2013. This group was an invaluable resource to her and encourage her to expand her agile knowledge; earning the CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP certifications and ultimately the CSP in 2016. In 2017 she began volunteering with the conference planning committee and joined the board in 2019 serving as the Treasurer.
She brings enthusiasm for technology, building high-performing teams, and the championing of agile techniques. Recently completing an MBA & MS in Marketing through IU’s Kelley School of Business, she brings a solid business background necessary to support AgileIndy’s operational needs.
Tonya T'ere Wallace
Tonya T'ere Wallace has an MBA, with a specialization in Project Mgmt; and is also certified as a Scrum Master, and SAFe practitioner. She currently works as a Sr. Release Train Engineer for Cox Automotive; and owns Gideon VI LLC, an IT software company with her husband. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for AgileIndy, a non profit organization focused on agile and supporting frameworks serving its 1,000 member base in Indianapolis, IN. She is also a certified speaker, coach and trainer with the John Maxwell Team, and DISC facilitator.
Tonya's passion for personalities allows her to grow individuals, and teams through DISC, and leadership training. As a mother of six athletes, she has assisted schools and teams throughout the midwest understand how to teach and coach to personality types.
Marcy Elhamidi is an Agile Coach with 20 years of experience in Software Development in the Indianapolis area. She has been an active member of AgileIndy since it’s early days in 2012 and has served on the board since 2016. As Conference Chair for AgileIndy 2017, Marcy played a significant role in doubling the size of the AgileIndy Conference from 350 to 750 attendees that year – a number that AgileIndy has exceeded every year since. In addition, Marcy has made significant contributions to the creation of the AgileIndy Conference Committees, expanding our monthly meetups from one to two a month, and has been instrumental in increasing speakers, membership, and marketing over the years.
Marcy continues to passionately support AgileIndy’s mission and hopes to continue the spirit of continuous improvement by re-engaging the more experienced Agilists in the community in 2020. When Marcy isn’t on Agile Coach or AgileIndy duty, she enjoys experimenting by applying the Agile mindset to her parenting style, often to the chagrin of her three boys and husband.
Scott has been actively involved with AgileIndy since 2016. He has served on the conference sponsor and day of event committees prior to joining the board in 2019.
Scott discovered agile in 2014 when he became a product owner. He found his 'sweet spot' though in 2017 when he began serving as a scrum master.
Scott is passionate about helping teams and organizations apply principles and practices to deliver valuable products to the marketplace.
