USING LEAN AND KATA TO COACH TEAMS
We will explore coaching as a way to help teams acquire new capabilities needed to achieve various challenges. We will use Lean/ Kata as a way for both daily experimentation by the team, and for coaching the team. Rather than managing, we will explore coaching as the way to enable the team to have the safety they need to talk on real problems, solve them, prevent them, and share the knowledge. This coaching approach enhances team learning which is the building block for organizational learning. Teams that learn daily are the ones who discover problems faster and talk about them.
