4 Practices Every Agile Developer Should Know
Scrum is simple, but it’s not easy. From the way we look at new product development to the techniques used for managing these efforts, everything is impacted when we transition to Agile. Whether it is a software application or a marketing campaign, the impact of Agile on the developers is profound. The old approaches to development will not work in an Agile environment. Trying to run a “mini-waterfall” in each Sprint is not going to work.
Agile Engineering practices help the developers deliver in the fast paced world of Scrum. We will use a hands-on Scrum simulation to look at four of these practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), refactoring and pair programming. (No coding will be involved.)
