AgileIndy has seen steady growth since its inception in 2011. With the growth of our monthly meetings that now average between 70-100 attendees on the northside (held on the second Wednesday of each month), our expansion last year to now also include monthly meetings (on the third Tuesday of each month) in downtown Indianapolis, as well as the growth of our annual conference that held over 700 attendees this year, the AgileIndy Board has made the decision to increase the number of board members from 5 board members to 7 board members this year.
In accordance with our bylaws, one of these board positions will be held by a board-elected member and the second position will be held by a member-elected board member. AgileIndy is pleased to announce the newest board-elected board member: Diana Williams.
Diana works at DMI and is an experience Scrum Master and Agile Coach. While working in Cincinnati, Diana was one of the key board members who helped launch AgileCincy's first conference last year and has helped fund AgileCincy events by building relationships with local sponsors. We are pleased to have Diana returning to the Indianapolis area and look forward to putting her amazing skillset to good use for the AgileIndy community. To learn more about Diana, please see her nomination form here.
Diana will also be a speaker at our AgileIndy meeting on August 9th, so feel free to join us and meet her in person! To RSVP for this event, go to www.meetup.com/agileindy.
To vote for the remaining member-elected board member, please plan on attending the September northside or September downtown AgileIndy meetings. Votes will be cast in person at these September meetups and the final board member announced later in the month.
