With over 8 years of Agile experience--15 years in IT project planning, implementation, and execution--Kim currently serves as Co-Chair for Scrum Alliance's Global Gathering 2017. Kim believes you create your own reality, and therefore do anything, by the way you think and act. You cannot blame your peers, family, or circumstances; you are not your circumstances and you are your possibilities. Kim uses her “unconventional” and creative tactics to generate transparency and encourage self-development. She is considered a “People Whisperer” for her street-savvy style of coaching that brings out the best in people. She fuses real-life stories, in-the trenches experiences, and conversational techniques to connect with people of all walks of life on an intimate, intense and individual level. She’s experienced in creating a shared vision among an enterprise and building a strong, united leadership to empower organizations to achieve a successful Agile transformation.
She is a Certified Scrum Professional and an active participant in the Scrum Alliance Community. She is founder of Santa Paysitforward, a non-profit organization where she’s applied Agile principles, and which gives back to elderly who are without family and in need. She was inspired to do so from her experience in a single parent household where her Grandmother helped raise her. She adopted her first Senior in 2009. As of 2015, Santa Paysitforward aids 528 Seniors throughout Maryland and Virginia.
