2017 Board Member Nominee: Mitchell Malloy

Mitchell Malloy

Managing Consultant

How many Agile Indy events have you attended in the last 12 months?:

I started applying Agile techniques as a software engineer in the late 90's, but it wasn't until 2008 as a project management consultant that my eyes were opened to the Agile mindset. Since that time, I have let the values and principals of Agile change the way I interacts with people and deliver value to my clients. Drawing from my experiences as a Naval Officer, Project Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Agile Coach, I have successfully mentored and empowered others to reach their personal and professional goals.

Why do you want to join the Agile Indy board?:
There are alot of people suffocating under oppressive, ineffective and wasteful administrivia. I get charged up by making a positive impact in the lives of others, and I believe Agile does just that. If AgileIndy didn't exist, I would be seeking to create it. I have not been very active because I had a prior commitment on Wednesday evenings until recently.

BTW, hats off to all of you on the success of this most recent conference!
