How many Agile Indy events have you attended in the last 12 months?:

I started my career as a software developer in 2005, turned Project Manager in 2010 and then morphed into a ScrumMaster. I was introduced to Scrum back in 2012 as a Project Manager (and I had no clue as to what I was doing). After attending AgileIndy events and training, it all started to make sense, and really helped shift the way I viewed typical Project Management.

I've had ScrumMaster in my "official" title for 3+ years, and have practiced Agile for over 5 years.

Why do you want to join the Agile Indy board?:
I would like to be a part of something bigger than myself; having the opportunity to promote Agile  to both people and ultimately organizations in the Indy area is a great cause. I believe that giving people the chance to add new tools, which they can use to look at their current processes, allows them to make the best decision(s) on how to best go about running their projects.

I also hope it will allow me to meet others throughout the community and be a coach/mentor to them. I have realized I have a passion for sharing the knowledge that I have; if I can and if it allows us to build a stronger community in Indy, I am all for it.
