How many Agile Indy events have you attended in the last 12 months?:
I am currently responsible for the Agile transformation and the technical PMO at Angie's list. In that role, my responsibilities are varied: facilitating the implementation of scrum, aligning teams within the Technology group, managing and overseeing technology initiatives, and gathering and analyzing KPIs for the technology group. Prior to Angie's list, my careeer spanned several industries, and I have held a variety of positions related to software development, including Director of Software Development and CTO.
In addition, I am a speaker, having presented at user groups and conference around the Midwest region.
Why do you want to join the Agile Indy board?:
I am passionate about Agile and Scrum and its development. I was around at the inception of AgileIndy, yet had to move for a job. Since returning to Indy, I have focused on the promotion of Scrum and Agile by speaking at User groups regionally, teaching Agile at IUPUI as an adjunct professor, teaching Scrum and Agile at university, ElevenFifty, and TechPoint boot camps. I want to contribute to the continued growth and promotion of Agile in the Indianapolis community. I think my experiences in leading Agile transformations, combined with my unique experiences in the startup and enterprise software industry, will provide a perspective that compliments the existing board members.
